Recruitment Selection and Vetting Policy
The first step in our recruitment process is to discuss the candidate’s work history and the reason why they want to work with children. Following this we will send out an online application form.
Once this form is returned we will arrange an interview on Zoom to confirm ID and to view documents. When obtaining references, the referee will be required to confirm the true likeness of the candidate. Additional checks are undertaken if the candidate has worked overseas.
Once on our books we will undertake additional checks if there is a gap in employment of more than 56 days since last worked. We will re-check DBS Update Service, Education Workforce Council register and we will apply for new references.
