What are your registration criteria?
To work for Bay Resourcing Teaching Agency you must provide original documentation of the following:
Teaching Requirements
- Hold a relevant degree level teaching qualification (or be in your final year of teacher training)
- If UK trained, have full registration with the General Teaching Council for Wales (GTCW) (or will be in the process of registered with the GTCW)
- Have more than 6 months experience of classroom based teaching within the last 4 years
- Have a valid visa to work in the UK or hold an EU Passport
- Provide relevant proof of identification
- Undergo an Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure check
- Provide us with original documents for verification of all the above
Support Staff Requirements
- Hold a relevant degree level teaching qualification or be CACHE qualified or equivalent.
- Have more than 6 months classroom based experience within the last 4 years
- Have a valid visa to work in the UK or hold an EU Passport
- Provide relevant proof of identification
- Undergo an Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure check
Where documents are required, you will need to provide us with original documents for verification. These will only need to be supplied at the interview stage.
I worked with Bay Resourcing Teaching Agency some time ago, do I need to register again?
If you have worked with Bay Resourcing Teaching Agency within the last 3 months you can resume without any re-registration period. If you have been away from us for longer than 3 months you will be required to re-register and be able to provide a reference for the interim period.
Do I have to pay to register with Bay Resourcing Teaching Agency?
Registration is free. If you require a CRB check you will be asked to pay £53.
I am a final year education student, can I register with Bay Resourcing?
Yes, as long as you are registered with the GTCW we are able to register you before you have fully qualified.
