What type of work can I do as a Support Worker?

Bay Resourcing Teaching Agency offers the following Support Worker roles


Teaching Assistant

Assists teachers in their classrooms, including preparing and tidying away materials and equipment and supporting individuals or small groups of pupils/students.


Cover Supervisor

An experienced classroom practitioner who delivers pre-prepared lessons in the absence of a class teacher, ensuring that the pupils/students' development is continued and maintained.


Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Complements the work of teachers in the classroom, and makes a substantial contribution to the planning, delivery and evaluation of educational activities for individuals, groups and whole classes.


Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

Delivers educational activities to individuals or groups of pupils/students under the guidance of a teacher, and provides support within the classroom.


Nursery Nurse


Works as a professional in a team providing quality care and education to promote the physical, social, emotional and cognitive development of each child, and supports effective teaching and learning in designated classes.
